Tonya Hambrick-McClain |
Born and raised in Harvey, Illinois Tonya Hambrick-McClain has always helped others. After graduating from Chicago State University in 2001, she decided to return to school. While working at Oak Forest Hospital, a Cook County facility, she continued her education at Govenor State University and received her Masters in Social Work in 2006. Ms. Hambrick-McClain has a love for teenagers and children. She has facilitaed an 8 week anger management program, and an alcohol and drug intervention program.
In October 2006 she became the Executive Director of WOMEN EMPOWERED FOR TOMORROW NFP(WETNFP) a not for profit organation with the belief that the clent always comes first. Our mission is to help low income families become self -sufficent for the future. Women Empowered For Tomorrow NFP provide services to African American youth in a lower strata income. |
